my title based on content : Britt Lapthorne  missing sept 18 2008 roomate at hostel Lydia Hambrook told to wait five days to hand in passport from hostel owners  before reporting disappearance to police

Lydia Hambrook, 28, was the first to raise the alarm after Ms Lapthorne, 21, failed to return to her hostel on September 18.

“The hostel owners relayed to me that they had been advised to go back in four or five days with her passport if she didn’t return.

“At that point I was horrified that that was the local response, given that even though I didn’t know Britt that well, from that brief meeting, I knew that she was sensible. To me there was no reason why she would disappear and leave her passport and all of her belongings and not tell us what was going on.”

Ms Hambrook contacted the Australian embassy in Zagreb in the hope that consular staff would contact the family and ensure a search began.

She said when she left for Stockholm on September 21 she believed an investigation was under way and Ms Lapthorne’s family had been informed, but she later learnt they were not told until three days later.

**** the idea girl says… Britt disappears sept 18 2013 and her family isn’t told until  sept 24th, that’s just not right!  something a law needs to CHANGE!***

quote again.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has said it contacted local police about Ms Lapthorne on September 19.

On September 15, Ms Lapthorne was in Mostar, Bosnia, where she met Melburnian Brad Anderson.

He warned her about bad experiences he and others had had on the Croatian coast.

my thought here.

*** does brad anderson have premonitions or is he talking from experience.. find out more from him he could add to this case based on other things that he knows from other abductions not yet reported to police or to the public.. i’m pretty sure there’s LOTS more out there **

Brad Anderson from Melborne Australia? has some information that can be crucial to this case (so britt’s ghost says 5 jun 2013 404 am edt)

quotes:

Sources close to the Dubrovnik police Nacional stated that there have long been suspected to be in Dubrovnik drug dealing and prostitution taking place under police protection in a Dubrovnik café. There are suspicions that the real owners of cafes, remote 50 meters from the building of the Municipal Court, and 150 meters from the police building, actually three inspectors at the drug in the Dubrovnik police. Among them, not to mention the name of Dragan Pale. Given just mentioned, it is not surprising that some of his city of Dubrovnik experience as a city where organized crime flourishes. Aware of the goings on at the Dubrovnik police suspect that the dismissed Krešic deliberately underestimated the problem, and perhaps tacitly tolerated some suspicious activity involving some Dubrovnik police.

my thoughts

i read this and thought oh no.. and then i’m shocked, when looking at more info, 70%… yes 70% of the police force is fired along with the leader – kresic…

talk about house cleaning!

hope they are all good guys now…

my thoughts:

** britt was at the cafe 13 hrs before she disappeared** (according to Red Leon’s letter to the press along with photo evidence)  he has a picture of her 13 hours before she disappears with the man who was taking her picture that day… he says he has an alibi.. but if you read all his alibis and what happened, his alibi has some MAJOR flaws in it.. which i will share in my notes (all 50 pages of them, this is just page 1 still… ) i’m doing each piece of evidence, clues in seperate blog posts so i can google them to find them if i need to, if something comes up that rings a bell in my mind…

quote  about 70% of police dismissed.. but that means they can STILL get a job elsewhere and CONTINUE the activities they were doing before.

SCotland yard needs to compile a list of all 70% officers dismissed from Croatia, and then run a mapping chart of where they are located and any missing person’s cases.

any gang related activity – they become part of the suspect lists.. and according to Britt’s ghost , they are still doing what they like to do….(5 jun 2013 410 am edt)

New Dubrovnik police chief Zlatko Sokolar, successor Ivan Kresic, dismissed almost 70 percent of the people.
