“Red Leon” writes that Mr Dabrowiecki, a student at the University of California, Berkeley, was at Club Fuego on the night Britt disappeared and that he was the traveller who wrote the first panicked email stating that she had not returned to her hostel on September 18.

Britt’s last Facebook post was made at 7.06pm on September 16 – the day she arrived in Dubrovnik. Exactly 14 minutes later, she confirmed Mr Dabrowiecki as a Facebook friend.

His posting, reported by the Herald previously, stated: “Britt did not come home. I AM REALLY WORRIED”.

On September 30 Mr Dabrowiecki wrote on Facebook: “Britt my prayers go out to you. I been thinking bout [sic] you a lot, I even had two dreams already where I found you, and you said you were fine, but I got mad that you made everyone worry. As the days go by, I realise you would never make everyone worry this much. If you are in control of things, come back … if not, just know that your family is doing everything they can to get you back, and we are all trying our best to remember even the slightest detail to help them.”

Mr Dabrowiecki left the Dubrovnik hostel at 7am that morning to continue his travels.

The Herald contacted Mr Dabrowiecki by email on October 5. He said he would only speak to the authorities or the Lapthorne family. In a subsequent email, he said he had spoken to the Australian Federal Police but his account would not “be very interesting” as he “barely saw Britt the whole night”.

my thoughts;

this alibi is very interesting, police never double checked this story, nor was the person he was with ever mentioned so far in my data mining… story not confirmed yet.. and the interesting thing is the different stories you will see in my blog quotes, they don’t match up.. very interesting case so far.. confusing in many things..
