quotes from blogs, evidence last persons seeing Britt Lapthorne before she disappears:

my thoughts:

Red Leon sends in this picture of Britt, saying a certain guy took the picture and he was the last one hanging out with her.. his testimony.. he cannot account for WHAT happened that night, he was too intoxicated.. but he remember clearly hours later travelling to another island. 🙂

police need to figure out time line of when he arrived at the new island, and what time he left the bar.. if he was too intoxicated he couldn’t drive there.. and the taxi, bus services only work at certain times, because the island he supposedly went to, has a ferry service that only runs at CERTAIN times..

check these.. and the ferry security footage.. i want you to look for him AND BRITT … she may have gotten a ride, and was taken to that island on the ferry.. spent a few days in said company and then was abducted there or … we’ll see.. based on tracking her and other’s activities in and around her..

more of this later…

quotes

According to the email, the photograph was taken in a Dubrovnik cafe-bar around 2pm on September 17. Pictured with Britt are Krys Noseworthy, 26, a fellow backpacker, and Gareth Hopkins, a London university student who has previously stated he bought Britt a drink between 1am and 1.30am the following morning, shortly before she disappeared.

Pasted from <http://www.flightemail.com.au/flight-email-articles/2008/10/18/mystery-email-as-britts-body-heads-home/>

*** britt’s intoxicated and Gareth Hopkins buys her another drink? 1 am till 130 am… why add to it if she’s so intoxicated and can hardly walk (according to eye witness reports… ) just wondering about that account…

quote:

“Red Leon” writes that Mr Dabrowiecki, a student at the University of California, Berkeley, was at Club Fuego on the night Britt disappeared and that he was the traveller who wrote the first panicked email stating that she had not returned to her hostel on September 18.

my thoughts:

Red Leon identifies Mr Dabrowiecki as the photographer of the photo of britt taken 13 hours before she disappears. In fact he spent 3 days previously in her company, day and night.. then that evening, he gets intoxicated and cannot remember things after 3 am.. He went to the hostel and then went for a walk to their place, and came back to the hostel at 7 am…

so in essence there’s a hole in that alibi.  first friends name not mentioned anywhere, not questioned to see if alibi is correct, then he states he left on the 17th sept to go to another island in one account.. in another he’s AT the bar and see’s Britt up to 3 am.

he’s spent day and night 3 days in a row, then all of sudden he dumps her at the bar and goes home with another girl? (true it can happen might be why she drank more)

but then again, he says he left for another island on the 18th…

story doesn’t add up.. will blog all witness accounts… soon..

quote again.

Britt’s last Facebook post was made at 7.06pm on September 16 – the day she arrived in Dubrovnik. Exactly 14 minutes later, she confirmed Mr Dabrowiecki as a Facebook friend.

His posting, reported by the Herald previously, stated: “Britt did not come home. I AM REALLY WORRIED”.

my thoughts:

i have a problem with this the day she arrive in dubrovnik facebook add friend thingy at 706 pm on sept 16 2008.. britt called her parents on sept 15 2008 (last phone call from her) from Dubrovnik?

did she use someone’s cell phone that lives in dubrovnik on the 15th? or did she call from the hostel and didn’t add him until the next evening.

yet she’ met our photographer guy in another city sarajevo and the girls followed him to dubrovnik according to his story… which would make britt with him 1 day in sarajevo and 2 days in dubrovnik before she disappears.

but get this.. another blog post says she didn’t arrive at the hostel until sept 17th… 2008.. mystery..

if she didn’t stay at hostel until sept 17th, where was she staying from the 15th to the 17th?… look at all phone calls from the phone number she used, to australia.

she might have called some friends and told them some juicy gossip that may be a clue.. also get a search warrant for the last 3 places she stayed at…

you need to find out if our stalker, went into her rooms, you might find hair and DNA there linking him to the case….

Mr Barbalatt told The Australian via email that he had been out with Ms Lapthorne at the Dubrovnik nightclub on the night she went missing.

“Britt was among our group, which consisted of about 10 people, all of whom were staying at our hostel,” he said. “Britt was very intoxicated with alcohol and at one point dropped a champagne glass on the floor on purpose and was kicked out of the club. Somehow she made it back inside the club after that incident.”

Mr Barbalatt said he and another Monash University student stayed at the nightclub until 3.30am and then took a taxi back to their hostel. “Britt was still in the club with most of the people from the hostel that we went out with,” he wrote.

my thoughts:

Mr barbalatt says he saw britt until 330 am then takes a taxi back to his hostel, in another account interview he left at 300 am… which one is it?

he felt comfy leaving britt there because some others from the club are still there *true they are there until 415 am *

here’s the other travellers – portuguese ones.. men or women?

talk to the portuguese travellers they saw britt talking to the strangers – people NOT from the hostel…she’s staying in…

Mr barbalatt says these portugese people saw britt talking to these men AFTER he and BARRY? left… how does he know this? 🙂

quote from blog:

“Some of the Portuguese travellers that went out with us that night, and were also staying at our hostel, said they saw Britt talking to a group of people that weren’t from our hostel later in the night after Barry and I left.”

my thoughts

so mr barballatt must have talked to the portugese travellers the next day… and they told him they saw britt talking to those people not from the hostel after 330 am

so the rest of the group leaves without britt at 415 am.. why? because they didnt see her. around.. where was she, who was she with.. and the dark blue van pulled up at 446 am an hour later and abducted her…  or was it 346 am.. which means she left while they were in the club at 415 so someone saw her leave with someone..

or if it’s 446 then they didn’t see her, but someone else did, the video footage shows several people standing around the club fuego doors that night…

The men offered the group a lift but the women were reluctant to get into their cars, the bouncer told Darren Lapthorne.

my thoughts:

two men, six women including britt –  women refuse to get a ride with 2 men… what kind of vehicle were they driving and then how did they leave britt behind and allow the two men to shove her into a dark blue van that pulled up?

In a bizarre press conference held 45 minutes late, at 11.45pm Sydney time last night, the deputy police chief of Dubrovnik, Ivan Kukrika, issued a brief statement saying only that there was “no evidence of violence found on the body”.

No evidence of violence? Her  limbs were cut off her body in the autopsy reports – hands, and feet were removed, most of her teeth and most of her  hair.. That’s violent enough don’t you think!!!!

May 26 2013 (unless those blog posts are in error?)

now i read the next thing and cannot believe my eyes.. the judge goes for a swim after signing her death papers.. two hours in the exact area she was found in.. creepy or what….

quote

In a bizarre twist, the judge who signed off on Britt’s autopsy report went swimming in the bay where her body was found – just two hours after police released the results of her post-mortem.

Judge Djordjo Benussi did his laps at Dance Beach, the rocky inlet which forms part of Boninovo Bay where Britt’s badly decomposed body was found floating by a fisherman seven days ago.

Judge Benussi was located after the Australian media found his home address – which is almost next door to Club Fuego, the Latino club where Britt was last seen in the early hours of September 18. A young woman, approximately Britt’s age, answered the door and said that the judge was swimming at Dance [pronounced Danche].

It is purely descriptive and it says there is no visible sign of an act of death of how she might have died because the body is in such poor condition

It is a false statement. The body is in such a bad state of decomposition that it cannot be determined whether foul play was involved or not. It didn’t say that there is no evidence of foul play, of course there is no evidence of foul play. The body is in such a poor state that nothing can be determined from it without scientific testing or forensic evidence and that hasn’t been undertaken at all.” he said.

The women claimed that a group of men who held police badges had tried to abduct them into a van they were driving and on failing with a few of the women, returned flashing police badges and pretending they were different men.

The programme also claimed that it had discovered errors in the CCTV footage provided by the Croatian police indicating that frames had been removed or deleted.

Not long after the program aired on Australian television, Croatian police dismissed the claims made by the television programme…

CROATIAN police have dismissed claims a gang of local men, purporting to be police, is preying on travellers at the bar where Britt Lapthorne was last seen alive.

Three young women have told how local men approached and tried to abduct them at or near Club Fuego in Dubrovnik, in separate incidents before and after the Australian disappeared from the same venue.

Two of the women said the men, who were of similar appearance, had claimed to be police.

They said some had carried guns, and one of the men even flashed what he claimed was a police badge.

But Dubrovnik police have dismissed the claims, aired in a Channel 7 investigation for Sunday Night, as “speculations”.

Pasted from <http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread454862/pg1>

Dale Lapthorne said footage captured in the early hours of the day Britt disappeared showed a van that matched one used in the other abduction attempts.

Britt’s parents viewed the footage on December 30, after repeatedly asking Dubrovnik police to see it.

Mr Lapthorne said they had also seen frames of what he believed was his daughter walking towards the van. But when Seven received the footage, those frames were missing.

Pasted from <http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread454862/pg1>

“That figure was not on it,” he said. “When we viewed it over and over again we saw those particular frames were frozen for several frames, and then the image would jump.”

He said he believed Dubrovnik police had tampered with the footage, and removed the frames.

“The police are the only ones who have the CCTV footage,” he said.

Meanwhile the owner of Club Fuego has threatened legal action.

Vinko Cosmai said the report was highly damaging to his business, which relied on Australian tourists in the summer season.

In the report, the three women produced forensic sketches of their alleged attackers with the help of forensic artists, and all three agreed the men were of similar appearance.

One of the three women interviewed by Seven, identified as Amber, said a group of men armed with guns yelled ‘police’ as they attempted to abduct her as she walked back to her cruise ship from Club Fuego.

The incident happened five days before Ms Lapthorne, 21, disappeared.

Amber and two friends were on a deserted street about 2am when the incident happened.

“I heard a car accelerate with two men in the front seat and a man hanging out of the side sliding door coming towards me,” she said.

“He was going to grab me.”

She said the attempt failed and she ran, screaming but moments later “men just started coming out of nowhere, five, might have been seven”.

“They were yelling ‘police, police’ and they told me to go with them. But when I looked up I knew that the main man that was yelling ‘police’ was the same man who was hanging out of the van and I knew that we were in trouble.”

Amber said she faked an asthma attack and the men fled.

Of the Lapthorne case she said: “Now that I know what I know, I’m pretty confident that they were the same people.”

New York woman Jennifer told Seven she and two friends were outside Club Fuego 10 days after Ms Lapthorne disappeared when two men – one short, one tall – approached and tried to chat her up.

She rejected them but they approached her again inside the club.

“These guys just came up and said ‘hey you’re under arrest’.

”(They) showed me what looked like a badge and put it back in really quickly.”

Jennifer said the men beat up her friend to stop her getting away but ultimately left the club in a waiting taxi with several other men.

“We all felt like it was very, very organised,” she said, adding that she had no doubt the men were a threat to her.

Pasted from <http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread454862/pg1>

Australian woman Kate told of jumping from a moving van after she foolishly accepted a lift from two men who’d been buying her drinks at Club Fuego, a year before Ms Lapthorne’s death.

When it was clear they were taking her to a location against her will, she said she leapt from the vehicle and ran screaming for help.

When shown one of the sketches and asked if it was of one of the men who refused to let her out of the van, she said: “Yeah I think so, even down to the little freckles”.

But the police spokesman Mr Borovec said the Seven report had not revealed anything that would help solve the Lapthorne case.

He said Dubrovnik police continued to investigate, in co-operation with Interpol and Australian police.
